"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
These words were spoken by Jesus. He honestly gave such wisdom in the New Testament (if you have not had a chance to read the gospels, I suggest reading them sometime). Basically, though, Jesus helps to prepare us for the trials that we will face if we are believers. However, always keep in mind that He has overcome the world, so if you serve Him you serve someone greater than anything that can "hit you" from this world.
