He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 1Peter 2:24
Jesus died for our sins, so that we could be saved. We just have to accept the wonderful salvation that the Lord has given us. However, born again does not mean that we continue to live the same life. Born again means that we truly try to live Christ-like lives. We must strive to live for righteousness...truly, why would we not try to exemplify Christ in our lives after all that he did for us? Happy Easter, everyone, and God Bless!
